Well, someone has previously asked this in this topic, but his question was somewhat unanswered. I'm using a third generation nano. The process of installing zero goes fine, and it's obviously writing something to my iPod, but my iPod fails to go to a loader screen, and just immediately boots into the vanilla firmware.

[off-topic]Not when you run a tutorial!

I completely seriously get about ten of those messages every week.[/off-topic]

Excellent job on ZeroSlakr though Keripo, I tested it awhile ago and it works superbly.

I love ZeroSlakr. So easy to install, and user-friendly. This was my only solution to a working iBoy and iDarcNES without having to dl Linux Live. You guys saved me so much trouble, thanks!

Tested on a 5.5G 80GB Video: Just about EVERYTHING installed works, but speed is a major issue. Its a REALLY slow load, but otherwise, 100% perfect!

Did you enable disk mode? You can do this in itunes in your ipod settings.

this installer is amazing!

the only problem ive found is that even when my ipod says its charging, it always says its battery life is in the red.

ill try this installer again once its near completion or completed =]

thx for the installer tho, seems like a really worth while project

seriously guys, ive tried everything to get this stuff on my ipod nano first gen, 2gigs, and this runs perfectly and smooth too, start up isent slow either, the only problem was that non of the apps everyone is talking about work, like iBoy and iDancers, or something...i only got time to test out a few apps last night, im new so, anyways, when i run it it says all the sart up stuff, then error, few more lines of code, then file to big, please exit... so if u know would be great, oh yeah on the paint, i was drawing and i held down the play button to make a line, and it rebooted, dono if that usualy happened, i wasent olding down center? but otherwise, GREAT JOB!! cant wait for the full version and all the bugs to be worked out. if i can help im any ways, im up for it

first gen ipod nano, 2gigs

Thanks a million, chris

ZeroSlackr Framework - Stable Snapshot Release
http://ipodlinux.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=29636

Not as many things as the stitched-together Testing release but a lot more stable, etc. Make sure to also read the Notes/Issues section.

Have fun!
