I asked my original uploader to remove my section (don't want to waste his bandwidth and such for the moment being) and deleted the installer files from my computer, sorry ; / I'll be doing some further important modifications to the core userland anyways, so just wait.

As for the project, its pretty much alive in my mind and doing well. I'm just testing stuff on my own right now and am currently trying to get Podzilla 2 to compile on Slax (I've decided that using a modular-based Podzilla 2 as a base launcher would be far more flexible than a hard-coded Podzilla legacy base. Either way, I'll need to be able to compile Podzilla 2 for certain applications such as Encyclopodia and more). Since school takes priority over hobbies, I'm only doing occassional work when I get free time, but during the winter break, I'll be free to bring it on ; )

Ok that's bad, however, could someone upload the most recent package again plz? because I think keripo's page was deleted or somewhat, and the files are not there anymore.

If someone has the files, plz upload it to rapidshare or something like that.

But if someone else has the files please upload them.

Keripo It's great to know you will continue this christmas!

Wheeee haw!!!
http://www.filefactory.com/file/851a31/
I have (hopefully) compiled Podzilla 2 on my WinXP!!! But I just lent someone my iPod for over the weekend.

I NEED TESTERS!!!!!

This is a [u]pure, svn, unaltered[u] Podzilla 2 binary I built on my computer. I NEED TO KNOW IF IT WORKS! That means test if it runs, test if schemes work, test if modules work, test EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING! If this Podzilla 2 is a successful compilation, expect a tutorial and major advancements with ZeroNet soon ; )

Ill test in an hour or two Wink

edit: finally tested it..

i did this test with my ipod, wich hasnt been cleared since last podzilla..

it starts with (i think backup) podzilla0. wich is strange cause i got the podzilla compiled binary in zerolauncher file..

then i open pz2 via filebrowser. it starts loading
then i get this message:
TTK. ERROR /usr/lib: Not a directory
(i click ok)

then i get this: TTK. Warning No modules. podzilla will probably be very boring.
(i clik ok)

and then ive got podzilla 2.

it excist outof Extras, Settings, Power.
Extras menu is empty,
settings work ok. i can change scheme and stuff
power also works..

So its kinda screwed up. tomorow ill try on a clean ipod. Smile

hatchinatore - Hm, odd error. Don't touch anything and replace the my podzilla2 binary with the latest nightly-build one and see if there's the same error. If there is, try using just a few stable modules instead.

tommmiejj - That's cause you've never set up Podzilla 2 before ; P But the bottom line is that it works fine by itself without modules and schemes. I'll need hatchinatore to check if modules and schemes work.

MADCOW - clear your cache, enable cookies, or make sure you don't have any type of weird site-blocker, etc. Link works perfectly fine for me, but chances are that the hosting site is labeled as a "bad" site for you. I just Googled and used the first free uploader I could find.

Sorry, use the url that I supplied ( http://www.filefactory.com/file/851a31/ )
I had decided to stop leeching of my friend cause I was probably causing him more hassle so I just requested he remove the branch of the site. Right now, I'm just using free uploaders till I get my own site.

Wait time disadvantage > 1 GB space advantage.

I don't think I'll ever need over 300 mb, but I'll keep the site in mind ; )
