Hm, I'm trying by changing "ln -s /hp/lib /usr/" to "ln -s /hp/lib /usr/lib" - that might work. But first the iPod must be /hp and have the old shell and everything goes right to the root of the iPod. I'll upload the slightly changed one.

^Changed start file zip

It works fine.

Very odd. I'll try testing it out after the exams to see what went wrong. Until then, I guess just stick to the old version cept swap for some more updated files.

could you upload the new version to a different server? My computer hates rapidshare and megaupload..... the download always freezes. maybe get a freewebs account? they have a real good file server.

150+ mb on a FreeWebs account? Will never happen ; P Either way, FreeWebs has quite a low bandwith limit. If you are having troubles downloading, (it will take an hour or so for the wad zips), I suggest you get a better Internet provider ; )

no it's not that i have a slow internet i have DSL but since it comes through a network my downloads sometimes freeze and with rapidshare you can't pick up where you left off on the same download.

No, I just tested it out and things don't install properly for the latest updated iPods. If you used Installer 2 and then enabled start files via AriX's iPod Manager, installation will not work properly at all. I'm working on a work-about and I should have a working zip soon.
