Wiki my friend, wiki. Or just check out arab_freaks' much newer and updated nano tutorial. Just make sure that you do NOT disconnect your iPod upon installing Linux the first time and skip right to aes (the main problem in tequilaguru's tutorial).

Doom doesn't work. Thats a BleuLlauncher problem. MPD should work, just not update. But it does install and you do get to BleuLlauncher, right?

yes. all three work (with about 5 secs load, for pz0 and flz), no MPD and something missing from pz2.

Alright, you are the first working tester - awsome! ; )

When you load PZ2, you will get 4 errors - this will happen. The first is something about serial keyboard. This is just warning you that the default text input method is keyboard, which you don't want to use. Go to settings and change the text input method to "Scroll Through". The second and third errors will be something to do with "update" and "start" - ignore these: these show with MPD no matter what.

For the forth error, I just realized that I had a problem with MPD. You might have the error "Cannnot connect to MPD. Solution: download the libstcxx module, the mpd module, and the mpdc module and put them all into the folder "/lib". Turns out you do need the libstcxx module for MPD to run on PZ2. I won't upload a new zip, but I'll include the extra instructions.

final questions: does iboy work for you?
and: where would i find libstcxx?
edit:put libstcxx in. previous problem: color scheme in pz2: black background, black text. white nonmoving selector, white text. had to guess where to find the power.
edit:after finding pz2 off, says: byebye now... freezes.
wont reboot into apple... for now.

libstcxx is not in the zip - see my first post for where to find it.
PodPodRevolution is named tstep by the maker. Don't ask me why cause I don't know (legal reasons maybe?)
iBoy nano works for me. To fun it (in Floyd or PZ0), go to file browser, /bin, and scroll down to iboy-1mini and select it. Or, in Floyd, go to Extras, iBoy, and select the iBoy 1gb Mini.
The colour scheme is correct. Its Blackglass, which looks really awsome with the backlight on. Yes, its a bit harder to see than mono, but with backlight, its really cool ; )

Thats a PZ2 problem, not a ZZ installing problem. Sometimes "Turn off" might work if you don't do anything (ie, don't play any games or such and use it right after you load PZ2), but the other two options WILL freeze. Just hard reset your iPod (centre + up).

To go into Apple, reboot your iPod and don't touch anything. If you can't, thats not my fault - that means that you didn't even install iPodLinux correctly!

ZillaZero will not mess with your booting sequence, ever. It just cant.

don't forget my most important problem:
let me draw it out for you:
|----------------------|
|(blank black)_____| -supposed to be podzilla2
|(blank black)____>| -supposed to be Extras, now Music
|(blank white)_____| -supposed to be selector, not moving
|(b b ) >| -and so on...
|(b b ) >|
|----------------------|

edit: apple working now.

Hm, thats odd. I thought I fixed that (its originally a problem in Triple Boot too). Oddly, it worked on my iPod. I'll look into it, but see the Triple Boot wikipage for the fix:
http://ipodlinux.org/Triple_threat#Podzilla2_works.2C_but_I_get_black_blocks_in_the_menu.
Try the first method cause the second method won't work (unless you do some modifications.
