Japan Trip 2013 - Nipponbashi
Nipponbashi, the other otaku haven! (also known historically as Den Den town)
Every day starts off with a subway

We decided to take a detour through the side covered mlls

Welcome to Nipponbashi, aka DenDen town, aka the otaku hotspot of west Japan

I was looking for Little World, turned out it was just a small corner in this big Gee! Store. Only Orbitsu/Azone stuff ;<
We all live in a yellow submarine!
The Gamers/Comic Toranoana combo was quite stocked
The Gee! Store Annex was dedicated just to showcaseing Haganai (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) stuff. I think the theme changes once every while
Kotobukiya store, with Azone and Hobbystation on top
Azone floor. Had to strongly resist getting one. Never have I seen such cute Neemos >_<
Time to hunt the backalley second-hand stores for good deals/rare figures!
Really awesome painted Neko Rei garage kit. Turns out to be this item: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/20035
The store next door. Went for the figure hunting. Stayed for the Dr. Pepper.
Went to Melonbooks, but turned out they were under renovation ;( Building also had ___ though, where I managed to snatch a few good figure deals
Volks store, bigger than the Akiba one too
Herogangu store, didn't look too much inside cause I was running out of time (friends gave me a meetup time)
Super Kids Land in the distance, with it's floor of Gundams. Wanted to buy some gunpla, but didn't have time nor luggage space ;(
The Jungle store was surprisingly large. Bought a few figures from here at bargain prices
Dinner at some random katsu place
Convinced my friends to let me visit the Mandarake Grand Chaos(a bit of a walk away from Den Den Town)
Only 4 floors, but just as stocked as Mandarake Complex (Akiba). Picked up a few figures here too.
I have no idea what flavour this Fanta is, but it was good
Stay tuned for more Japan Akihabara goodness!
