So this is a new installer? Hmm... this reminds me of my old iTunes-like installer. I have nothing to really add here, besides that I would like to see screen shots
Too bad I don't have an iPod anymore, I would've tested for you |

Is like iPod Application Manager. It says welcome, explains what it is, you press next, it finds your ipod and installs, and it says finished |

I installed the ZeroSlackr Release on my 3g Ipod. Everything works fine until it boots in the ZeroLauncher. The contrast settings are to low for the B&W screen of the 3g. Its not possible to recognize anything of the displayed menu.
Does anybody know a solution to this? |

3G's have a stupid display. I have 2 of them. The first has a to strong contrast, the other one's is too low.
If i enable the backlight on the 3G with the too low contrast and "heat it up" to 25°C or more (using body temperature, sounds wired, i know) i can barely read it. But it's enough to get to the settings menu and rise the contrast to the maximum. |

Hey there, I'm having problem running ZeroSlackr on my 1GB iPod Nano.
When I run it, it says:
-----------------------
Keripo's ZeroSlackr
Loop-Mount Method
-----------------------
mount: mounting /dev/loop/0 on /bin/mount failed
pivot_root:No such file or directory
/etc/rc: cannot open
No more tasks for init-- sleeping forever.
Is it because I installed it uncorrectly? All I did was run the installer and safely removed the iPod.
BTW, I also ranned the ZeroSlackr + MPD installer afterwards. |

Did you read the small letters in that post and delete the packs directory? This might be the problem but I'm not sure, could be something totally different.. it probably is something totally different but you never know =) |

Hey thanks for help. But the problem was that not all the files were installed correctly, since I didn't have enough space on my iPod. I removed a couple of unnecessary files/songs and the installer installed everything. Problem solved! |
