Modules with updated config files for monochrome iPods ; ) Just redownload and overwrite!
Ps. New experimental iDoom module. I wasn't able to recompile, so I had
to settle for a hex edit. I'll write on how to use it later, but for
now, know that there are two versions - one that uses a local doom1.wad
[V2] and one that uses a shared doom1.wad [V1] to save space when you
have numerous doom2.wads. Explore and try it out!

Hm, from what I've seen with iBoy 0.7.0 [great work], tis better to wait
for the source to it than modify older iBoy versions. If you want an
instant solution, there's notthing preventing you from installing iBoy
0.5.3 manually the same way as before, but things will just not be as
organized as if it were a single ZeroNet module. The ZeroNet system is
just a partially redesigned userland but (almost) fully compatible with
anything installable in the past. In the meanwhile, I'll need to update
the userland installation .rar for some extra warning (concerning the
new updater). |

You could always send a pm to _ducky_ or fellni and ask them for the source, they would definitely give it to you. |

thanx , ToM
p.s. when i did it my way with notepad i got some kindof error if u need info ill add excact text later

Unless you recompile, the only way is through usage of a hex editor, in
which even then you are limited to the number of original characters
(thats why iBoy Beta uses "/Config/cfg" instead of "/Config/iBoy.cfg" -
there wasn't enough space to change the "/mnt/iboy.cfg" to
"../Config/iBoy.cfg" so I had to cut off the first four letters.

Notepad = bad excuse for a text editor ; )
But no, if you want to edit the binary, you cannot open it like a
regulat text file. You'll need to use a hex editor instead. Personally, I
use Xvi32 - simple n portable.

For testing purposes, I hardcoded the launch titles, so the only way to
change em is through a hex edit. When I get more things out and
stabalized, I'll release a better version of the launcher that doesn't
have to rely on Scott's launcher mechanism and is more customizable
(filebrowser-approach). Till then, remember that this is only for
testing ; )

Ok this is the ipod mini 2G dude again. I've finally realised that it's
the contrast that's been pissing me off, so all I did was delete the
config file and walla! It seems like an interesting podzillae but almost
nothing worked. For example, MPD not found, changing the settings never
did anything (might be because of the missing config file) and the
modules and zillas, just a blank screen. Am I the only one experiencing
this problem? |

Another experimental Mac Installer. This is a modded version of the
official Installer, so it should work (I hope). I replaced the old
loader.bin file with the new iPodLoader 2 loader.bin file. Not 100% sure
if it'll work, but theoretically from the original tutorial of how to
install Loader 2 when it first came out (replace file), it should.
Either way, try both and see if either of em work.
Also, this time I remembered to make the installer files into .zips rather than .rars. My bad |

Did you modify the userland for Mac Installation? I assume you didn't,
so if not I reccomend deleteing the installer from your site and then
I'll send you the right userland. |

If by "modified userland" you mean a tweaked and improved userland from
the very first release, then no. I haven't uploaded a new userland ever
since the first one. Although I do have an improved userland on my
computer, there's no point in uploading it as the first one is perfectly
functional. As long as it works, its good enough for testing til I get
to beta ; P
If there's a major non-compatability issue with the userland and Macs,
however, that'll be a biggie. I don't believe there should be though as
the userland is tar gunzipped and extracts right to the Linux partition,
but I've got no expertise in that ; ) |

lol yes, there is a HUGE compatiblity issue, as there is no chance that
your current installer will work with a mac formatted iPod. The main
problem is that it is gonna be trying to mount and use the nonexistant
ext2 volume and the nonexistant fat32 volume.
take down the installer and let me send you my Mac compatible userland |

Hm, I see. So I guess there'll be some mounting tweaks in the mounting
script that needs to be made. Ah well, thanks and yeah, they're gone ; ) |
