Install some ZeroNet Modules and choose their respective launch choices to test them out. Remember, this is just for testing things so things might look ugly right now. Don't worry, things'll look neater soon when I get some school-free time (I hope) |

Quick update. Yes, I haven't really released much recently cause there's not much to test (and most things I trust can run on other iPods if it can run on my nano and the original could run on others). This, however, needs to be tested. Its a stripped down and modded Podzilla0 with a file-browser like script launching mechanism that replaces the old, inflexible BleuLlauncher-based ZeroLauncher that I temporarily used before. A cleaned up version of this will be used as the main GUI launcher in the beta ZL system (which I'll get out once I've gotten PZ2 to compile) until I get a module-based launcher later on. Either way, try the binary out - its compatible with the current system. Either replace the ZeroLauncher binary in "/mnt/ZeroNet/ZeroLauncher/Binary" or launch it separately from within the old ZeroLauncher. Either way, here's the binary only:
http://www.millarnet.com/keripo/ZeroLauncherAlpha1
I haven't tested it myself yet, but it should execute any file with extension .sh or no extension (including the scripts named 1 to 7 with no extension used in the old ZeroLauncher). Make sure that the launch scripts could work with the old ZeroLauncher first before testing it with the new one.

edit: 1 little question, when i start linux it opens up the other podzilla 0 instead of opening the launcher.. anything i misplaced?
and i decided to put this stripped down version in the zerolauncher folder. |

Otherr podzilla0? Three possibilities:
1) Are you passing on loader 2 args? Currently, I haven't shown how to use Loader 2 args with this so far, so that shouldn't be the case.
2) Do you have a binary in "/mnt/ZeroNet/ZeroLauncher/Binary" ? If not, it will load the backup podzilla0 instead.
3) Is the zillas execution script being executed properly? Delete all logs in /var/logs, then reboot once and examine the log files (specifically the boot-startz.log file). Is the script section that executes the startup GUI working? I know that the older versions didn't actually load play the script, but still functioned so I didn't bothre updating it. If this is the case, though, don't worry cause the version of the userland that I'm using to test everything right now has all of it fixed (and gives you some nice print lines ; )
But the main thing is that it works ; D
~Keripo
Ps. Just to test it again, rename some of the scripts in ~/ZeroLauncher/MenuList/? to random names (ie, instead of just "1", name it "iBoy script" or something) and then try executing them. See if that works too. |

when i try opening the boot-startz.log using ltools i get this error:
problem 1 in block_list 1 8
problem 1 in block_list 2 8
I get this same error in boot-all.log, all the other logs do work.
what does this mean?? that my script is fuked up?
and ive got more flaws.. my conf file is <censored> up deleting doesnt work, it doesnt wanna make a new one/edit using save doesnt work. and reset settings doesnt work either.
and even more flaws :L when I use your menu to the zillas or arcade it brings me to the file browser or gives me an error this is even without editing the names...
I can open the zillas using filebrowser...
I hope you have some solutions to all my problems
Thnx |

For the blocks one, I'm guessing that instead the entire binary is copied over to the log file, causing those types of errors (it happened before). As for the config file, not sure why you can't delete it, but I know for the new temporary one, I don't think I corrected the config file location, so saving settings won't work. As for the file browser error, could you tell me what the error says? The coding I used is basically the same coding for a normal filebrowser cept stripped down and with the starting locations hard-coded. |

Ok that's bad, however, could someone upload the most recent package again plz? because I think keripo's page was deleted or somewhat, and the files are not there anymore.
If someone has the files, plz upload it to rapidshare or something like that.
