Alright, I solved the problem. It was a mistake on my part (forgot to make a small adjustment). Here's the quick fix.

Take any scheme file in the /lib folder in your iPod (I still suggest Blackglass ; P). Make a copy of it into the same folder. Delete the old default.cs file and rename the copied scheme file to "default.cs". Open up the new "default.cs" file with Notepad or something (MSWord should work too). In the very first line, change the words "\name Black Glass" or whatever the name was of the original scheme file to "\name Default". Now it shall work.

I'll include the MPD and scheme fix in ZillaZero Beta, but until now, you'll have to do it manually ; /

Edit: Nope, screencapture's only for PZ2 at the moment unfortunately, so take some pictures instead (if you can). I'll be including a video of the whole installation process when I release ZZ Beta. As for the BleuLlauncher change, I don't think you can easily change it without knowing C or using special tools (if you open up the BleuLlauncher binary in Notepad, you'll find a line in English for each zilla path, but when I tried to edit it just using Notepad, it failed. The main reason I'm going to need to learn C.

First off, interesting theme there - where did you get it?

iBoy roms not showing - all roms must end with .gb and be in the "/iBoy_nano" folder of your iPod root.

MPD freezes - Did you add on the libstcxx module? If yes, yes, MPD is slow - it buffers all the songs on the list the song you selected is on, so it will take a long time (or just select individual songs through other methods, ie Artists>Song, unless you have lots of one song for each artist). Also, you'll want to run MPD as the first thing after loading PZ2 before playing any games as MPD uses up lots of memory.

Random freezes - thats a PZ2 problem - nothing you can do about it except remove a few modules so startup doesn't take up as much memory (podpaint, tuxchess, screenlock, and vortex are all pretty dam big for iPodLinux, so you'll want to remove em along with all the unused text input modules)

Some modules need replacing - I know, these are my old module list and since I'm not updating the zip til ZZ Beta, the modules won't get updated. If you post a list of modules needed to be updated, however, that would be nice.

no, i left the one that said "NANO".
Your saved files are in iboy_nano/save. so just move them? ok.
as for MPD, playlists does not work, and i went to songs, chose the first, and it froze, i reseted before 15 seconds of waiting.

MPD handles playlists differently from iTunes, so you won't have your iTunes playlists. The only two problems with ZillaZero right now is the MPD libstcxx module missing problem and the PZ2 appearance typo problem.
And yes, I left my saved files in the zip. Why not - if people want to use em, go ahead!

Again, I repeat, don't try selecting songs through the "Song" menu. The "Song" menu lists all the songs on your iPod and thus MPD will try to buffer all of em, which will definitely cause iPodLinux to crash and freeze. Select your songs through another menu like Artists or Albums.

... they all work on my iPod. I suggest you clear out some of the bigger sized modules and then trying again. Or just try them as the first thing in PZ2.

The reason your iPod keeps freezing is cause you have way to many modules. Remove some.

Naw, I said I only took out the really crappy/unused ones, mostly the unused text input ones and a few others. Didn't want to take out too many, but now I'm being more selective.

For Atari800, you access it through file browser. Go to File browser>hp>iAtari800 and select one of the shell files I made. The package does not include any of the roms I listed though for legal reasons (you'll have to get them yourself through other means), but Montezuma's rom is included as it came with the original download, and thus just select the Montezuma.sh file (you can't select it through PZ2 though, so you'll have to either use Floydzilla, PZ0, or BleuLlauncher).

And lastly, remember, this isn't the place to ask these types of questions. ZZAlpha is for end users right now as I have not completed the documentary and Readme files, so I shouldn't be answering any questions that is related to how things work or how to do things. The only questions I should be answering is based on installation. As far as I'm concerned, only MPD and PZ2 appearances are the only problems. So if you have a question about a new feature you've never used before, this is not the place to ask it.
