Yea I knew it was him, I just thought you would need permission from DanFloyd or something. My bad, thanks for the release though. |

I know it does, AriX, but only after I switch over from starting it up on your Floyd ; ) The MPD module should be needed if you only rely on PZ2 for music, but I'm going to need to test that.
Samuca 1 - Thats a Mame and Atari problem right now (nothing to do wth ZZ) - search their threads first!!!
Samuca 2 - PZ2 at the moment cannot execute shell files. The developer's are working on it, but until then, if you want to execute a shell file (the mpd_run.sh file which you will only need if you removed the "/bin/mpd" line from your rc), you'll have to execute it in BleuLlauncher (before entering PZ2 depending on what the shell file does). So basically, its a PZ2 problem, nothing to do with ZZ. One of the reasons I constructed ZZ - it's all about options and no limitations
So Samuca, ZZ does work, not "half work" (with the exception of the two fixes needed) - its the actual added components themselves that still have "bugs" on em! Hopefully when I finish up writing all the Readmes there won't be any of these questions |

Alright, a bit of update on the progress of Zilla Zero Beta. I've added quite a few things and have mostly revamped the iPodLinux structure so its very accessible on Windows. Here's whats to expect so far:
- [MPD and appearance fixes]
- iNes added!
- iBoy 3.3.0 (will still have the old version)
- Mame updated version
- iDoom expansion pack!
- many updated modules
- added user-made schemes!
- many added fonts (Rockbox fonts and more!)
- Loader 2 and Args support
- minix-sh!
- Numerous zilla to choose from (PZ0 with MPD, Floyd with MPD, Pokezilla, iZilla, ViPod, PdPod and more!)
- Encyclopodia!
- Linux partition accessibility from within Windows! [access through the root to /bin, /usr, /home, and more!]
- ^Easy access to the "rc" file and adding new binaries
- Support for different models and hopefully MacOSX
And far more ; ) If its stable, I'll be able to release a preliminary in a few weeks!

I first was looking through the forums to find stuff to put on my ipod nano when I saw this topic. This concept is soooo great and I really want it but I have a problem downloading it. It goes to the site, I wait, then click "Click here to download" I click it then on the left hand side of mozilla firefox it shows the file name and says "starting download......" and it never changes.
Does anyone know whats happening and how to fix it?
Thanks,
DeadlyGonza |
