Here is a quick showcase video of the Auto Protection affix which becomes available in Season 3 and later. No audio because recorded from my phone and the Pixel 9 XL doesn't seem to like to record audio from this game specifically (works fine with literally every other game).

In PvE, Auto Protection is an extremely strong survivability affix that allows you to cheese mob-heavy content like Bond Odyssey. In PvP it's much less potent due to the shield nerf but if you are a Knight, you can use it to your advantage in an offensive Bruiser setup. CP diff is still king (I still lose to sydnie in a 1v1) but this combo helps close the gap.

Auto Protection (37% chance of small shield on hit) + Ripple Impact (PBAoE water dmg + 3 Cold stacks on shield break) + Frigid Aura (high water dmg + 1 Cold stack at end of player turn) results in a very strong passive AoE damage that's even better than Rebound. Consistent 10 stacks on all nearby targets as well as a solid PBAoE hit on every turn. Also synergizes well with Swirling Blade (single target water nuke) in 1v1 as well as Raging Maelstrom (PBAoE water pull) in 4v4, so it becomes a really nice setup that works in both situations. I've even fully switched to elemental mastery secondary gear stats to further amplify this.
