So long and thanks for all the fish!

After 4 years of competing at the top of NIKKE’s competitive scene, Scarlet is leaving the game and disbanding its NIKKE guild.

We poured thousands of hours (and dollars) into this game theorycrafting, writing guides, and submitting detailed feedback to SHIFT UP on competitive balance, controls, and quality of life. The majority of that feedback was never meaningfully addressed.

Instead, the response has been silence, followed recently by enforcement without true transparency, in place of the solutions we asked for. Punishment in place of design is not competitive integrity. We helped SHIFT UP catch a real hacker (Windchaser). They responded by punishing the whistleblowers. We have lost trust in the company and in the future of the game.

To the NA and Global community, thank you. For the friendly rivalries, the late-night malding, the memes. To our fellow competitive players and union leaders, it was an honor playing with you.

Scarlet will continue being the same competitive gaming community it has been for the past 10 years, but this ends our NIKKE chapter. See y’all in the next game.
