This weekend I dropped by OhnoRaptor‘ place and she spend an hour or so teaching me how to use Adobe Lightroom. I was previously using Adobe Photoshop CC for all my photos but could never get any of them to look as nice as the gorgeous Dollfie pics I see on Flickr. Thankfully, OhnoRaptors to the rescue, and after being walked through most of the basic Lightroom settings and a few sample touchup edits, I was ready to try it out in my next figure review. So here’s the results, hope they look nicer now!
Prisma Illya was chosen as the photo target this time cause she’s pink and OhnoRaptors likes pink
This is just one of my many TYPE-MOON figure reviews. Past reviews can be found here while a list of upcoming reviews can be found here.

Three parts – figure, base, and wand (Kaleidoscope Ruby)
Simple peg base with a magical circle printed on
Kaleidoscope Ruby, unfortunately just as a plain boring wand in this figure
Here’s some closeups of the figure itself – overall nice painting and details, no complaints
Figure review of a mahou shoujo means obligatory pantyshots
Attaching the foot to the peg – a metal rod is used so it should be pretty stable
The wand is actually two pieces and attaches below but close to the hand (too far down and it hits the leg)
Sign a contract and you too can be a magical girl!
Since the purpose of this photoset was to practice using Adobe Lightroom, I took a bunch of random pictures around my apartment with different backdrops and (usually crappy) lighting. I think they turned out alright and don’t think I would have gotten the same results with Photoshop, but I’ll let you guys be the judge.
On my coffee table with sofa, Dollfies, and plushies in the background
Balanced on my sofa, with my Detolfs in the background
On the window sill, facing my balcony
On the window sill, facing outside
Omake
And of course, because this is a Keripo review, here’s the obligatory omakes.
Here’s a page from the Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA manga, showing Illya in the pose that the figure is based off
