Here’s the video recording of Cabal 2 NA’s first open beta PvP tournament, organized by Shiory of [Onyx] and hosted by Desiree of [Last Resort]. Most of the footage has been sped up to 150-170% speed and trimmed down for time (especially the FS/PR fights). There was a total of 14 participants who showed up and a total of 16 duels. The tournament was single elimination, no items, self-buffs only. Battle Mode (BM) was allowed only for the third and final rounds. The grand prize was 15 million Alz, sponsored by the Onyx guild.

The four winners were Atticus (FS), Badass (FS), Devox (FS), and FuryDra (PR), all of whom draw’d in the final round. With the current level 40 cap, Force Shielders (FS) and Priests (PR) have a significant gear/class advantage in 1v1 situations, so the results were no surprise. We plan to host another PvP tournament after the lvl 45 patch, after which gear and class balance will be significantly better.

Note1: I mispelled WinsPer’s name in the video, sorry!
Note2: Sesshomaru DC’d right before his duel with Vyngadora, so the duel took place after Round 2’s first match (but as part of Round 1)
Note3: ComeToDaddy was lagging too much so he withdrew from the tournament
