Info
The following is a panel I presented at Sakura-con 2015. I had spent countless hours on it hunting down facts, adding slides, then deleting slides up until the morning of the panel (for which I was still awake only thanks to the power of Red Bull). It was my very first panel and I wasn’t feeling fully prepared, yet the presentation went surprisingly well. Despite it being held on the afternoon of the last day of the con (i.e. when most con-goers are starting to pack up or have already left), there was between 120-150 attendees, almost all of whom stayed until the very end.
For those who were unable to make it to the panel (or did but want to go over the slides again), I’ve uploaded them here for your convenience. See the above “Downloads” section for download links to the PowerPoint slides; the first includes embedded videos and unfinished meme slides, and the second contains only the info slides. I’ve included in both versions fully typed-out notes/pseudo-transcript of the panel since I accidentally forgot to record audio when I started. The slides are also in image form in the below “Slides” section.
Slides
Here is the in-line version of the slides in image + embedded video form. If you want to read the notes/transcripts associated with each slide or watch the cleaner 1080p versions of the videos, you will have to download the PPTX version in the Downloads section above.
