tl;dr: Rumani is our latest clip RL, making her a top tier burst gen battery. Her kit itself is pretty meh so you’ll only be using her as a battery.
(sorry for the late review, been busy with Throne & Liberty and Cat Fantasy the past month and kinda forgot about Nikke, oops)
Rumani is our latest bait unit leading up to 2nd Anniversary which will likely feature some OP meta unit, probably Cinderella. Despite having an extremely unremarkable kit, she has one saving grace: Rumani is a clip rocket-launcher. What this means is that, in PvP, her burst gen value is extremely high, above that of clip SGs but just behind the other clip RLs (Anis > Jackal > Centi > Rumani > Emilia8 > Noah > Clip SGs). See any of the burst gen calculators in the pins for exact numbers. Being a burst gen battery, this by default gives her extremely high value in PvP, especially in SP Arena and Champion Arena where you will need to put together multiple teams. She is also an SSR so her base stats are higher than Anis, and she won’t be limited, meaning you’ll be able to MLB/C7 here eventually.
Rumani’s Burst is very lackluster so I generally would not recommend bursting with her as there are many other better/more valuable B1 bursts to use in PvP. Her S1 lets her RL shots taunt, but only during Burst. This probably means you will want to put her in P5 as to help take pressure off your P1 tank – its ok for her to die first cause by the time you’ve bursted, she’s already done her job. Her S2 is completely useless in PvP since Nikke don’t have parts, and even in PvE the bonus is so little it’s not worthwhile running her in any type of content.
All in all, Rumani is just another burst gen battery. But given the importance of burst gen in PvP, this instantly makes her a top tier PvP unit regardless of her kit. Keep the clip RLs coming please!
